The following incident took place sometime in October of 2000. She was, of course, on foot and in the very middle of the street when she did it. I LOVE this woman. Pedestrian Justice!Comrades, fellow pedestrians, I bring you tidings from the front lines of our glorious revolution. This morning, a crossing guard, a sister in the cause, stepped forward, pitted herself against a user of the internal combustion engine. Unwilling to stop for her whistle, this driver-tyrant made his crucial error directly in front of a police car, and our beautiful heroine had the tyrant-driver pulled over and ticketed for his arrogance. I know our war seems never ending, the tide of battle hugely against is, but take heart, fellow PPFers, in the small victories and continue to fight the good fight!
